Mentor on the Lake, Ohio

Leona Coles, age 70, passed away on November 3, 2025. She was born on October 25, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving parents, the late Antonio and Melda (nee Jamison) Mediate. Dear sister of Robert Mediate, David Mediate, Casey Coles, Robin (nee Coles) Magley, Richard Magley, Rob Coles, Robert Coles, and the late Jeffrey Coles. Treasured aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.

Leona had a deep love for animals and cared for them with warmth and compassion throughout her life. She found great joy in tending to her plants and spending hours in her garden, nurturing every bloom with patience and pride. Leona enjoyed quiet moments with puzzles, where she found peace and focus, and she cherished every opportunity to be surrounded by her family. Whether she was laughing with loved ones, sharing stories, or simply enjoying their company, family was always at the center of her world. Her gentle heart, nurturing spirit, and love for life will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
