Krieg A. Simmons

Krieg A. Simmons, age 37, passed away on October 14, 2023. Born on August 16, 1986, in Cleveland, Ohio, Krieg brought joy and warmth to the lives of those around him.

Krieg was the beloved son of Albert K. and Renee Simmons, and a cherished brother to Keith JR. Simmons, Kevin Simmons, and the late Vanessa Panas. He was the proud uncle of Johnathan Panas, Michael Panas, Kevin Simmons Jr., Nova Simmons, and a great uncle to Caleb Panas. Krieg's family was his rock, and he found immense joy in the presence of his loved ones.

Grandson to Carolyn Simmons, the late Albert H. Simmons, and the late Florence & William Goers, Krieg's family roots ran deep, providing him with a foundation of love and support throughout his life.

Krieg had a passion for life that was infectious. He found immense joy in the simple pleasures, especially his love for Mickey Mouse, evident in his room filled with Mickey memorabilia. A big bingo enthusiast, Krieg had a way of making the game even more entertaining with his trademark saying, "shut up Krieg," delivered in a humorous voice.

His love for people knew no bounds, as he had a unique ability to strike up a conversation with anyone he met. His favorite saying, "it is what it is," reflected his acceptance of life's twists and turns.

Krieg had a palate for pizza and dining out, always appreciating good food and good company. He embraced his inner cowboy, donning cowboy hats proudly and identifying as a blue-eyed cowboy. A passionate country music fan, especially of Kenny Chesney, Krieg found solace and joy in the melodies of his favorite tunes.

Despite facing health challenges, Krieg exemplified strength and resilience, earning him a reputation as a fighter and survivor. His infectious happiness, love for animals, and his penchant for karaoke will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Services at 12 p.m., at Grace Church 7393 Pearl Rd. Middleburg Hts., OH 44130. Interment Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
