Karl J. Bernhardt

Karl J. Bernhardt, age 58, passed away suddenly on November 28, 2024. He was born on April 4, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, Louis Bernhardt and Frances Hradelovitz.

Beloved husband of Debra A. Bernhardt, Karl was the devoted father of Krista A. Petruska (Auston) and dear brother of Frances Kelly (Dennis), Irene Reitenbach (Carl), and the late Louis Bernhardt (Gabi). He was also a treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Karl enjoyed fishing, collecting sports cards and comic books, and bowling. A passionate sports fan, he cheered for the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Guardians, and Bayern Soccer. He cherished his family, friends, and his WSBC family. Karl’s love extended to his loyal dog, Maya, and his birds, Willy and Lucy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
