Juaquim J. Torres, age 19, passed away on April 11, 2025. He was born on April 11, 2006, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, Rebecca Holbert and Pedro Betliskey. Cheryl Zinter also played an important and supportive role in his life over the past year.
Beloved companion of Daniela Jones, Juaquim was a devoted father-to-be, eagerly awaiting the arrival of his son, Giovanni Juaquim Torres. He was the dear brother of Pedro, Anita, Elez, Brittany, Elliott, James, Jayme, Judy, Christian (deceased), and five step-siblings. He also leaves behind a host of grandparents, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly.
Juaquim graduated from Lakewood High School and was set to walk across the stage later this year to receive his diploma. He was known for his protective nature, honesty, and his deep love for family. If he knew you, he was incredibly friendly and loyal. His sense of humor and warm heart left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He found joy in music—especially artists like Lil Kee, Scorey, Rell Sosa, Chief Sosa, and YFG Fatso—and loved gaming, with Call of Duty, NBA 2K, Mafia, and GTA being among his favorites.
Though his time with us was far too short, Juaquim’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
