Juanita Pena Santana

Juanita Pena Santana, age 68, passed away on August 20, 2026. She was born on February 17, 1958, in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, to her loving parents, the late Mauricio Pena and Maria Luiza Reyes.

Juanita was the beloved wife of Merquiadez Santana and a devoted mother to Rafael O. Santana, Zular Santana, and Neuroky Santana. She was a cherished grandmother to 5 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren, who brought love and joy to her life.

Juanita was the dear sister of Cristino (Rosana), Geno (Mary, deceased), Juan (Cheryl), Jose, Jorge, Leonides (deceased) (Teresa, deceased), Rosa (deceased) (Erasmo, deceased), Domingo (deceased), and a treasured uncle of Nancy (Joe), Marilyn, Leonides, Jr. (Mary Ellen), Edgardo (Kim), Erasmo Jr., Jesus (deceased), and many others.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Juanita’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved.

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. Additional Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m., at La Sagrada Familia Parish 7719 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102 (please meet at church). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
