Joyce 'Tiny' Polivka Mace Caringi

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce 'Tiny' Polivka Mace Caringi, who left us on May 13th, 2023. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Joyce was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1943 to the late Charles Zinner and Dorothy (nee. Van Dyke) Zinner.

Joyce was known for her love of her family, spending time with them whenever possible. She was the mother of Andrea Caringi Murty and Charles Mace Caringi, and cherished the time spent with her four grandchildren: Alexis Mayer, Kirsten Kubit, Christian Murty, and Brenden Murty. Joyce also had a special place in her heart for her late sister, Joan Richards.

Joyce had a gentle soul and could often be found tending to her garden or curled up with one of her beloved cats or watching her fish swim lazily around its tank.

Joyce lived a long and wonderful life full of love for those around her, though she may no longer be beside us but our memories of her warmth will keep us going until the day we are reunited once more. Rest in peace sweet Joyce "Tiny" Polivka Mace Caringi.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the developmental office of Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland 44110, designated to Ames Family Hospice, or an animal rescue of your choice.
