Joshua Griffin

Joshua Wade Griffin was born February 9, 1995 in Cleveland, Ohio to Jennifer Jeanine Griffin. Joshua resided with his grandmother (Mom), Deborah Yvonne Griffin, Woodie Dixon (Dad), and Adam Griffin, (brother) in Brook Park, Ohio, where despite having ongoing health issues, he lived a happy childhood filled with love and care until adulthood. Joshua attend and graduated from Midpark High School in May 2013. Joshua had a love for his family and enjoyed watching movies, marveled at the Power Rangers, enjoyed music, including his favorite artist Michael Jackson, creating TikTok videos, and relished spending time with his friends. Joshua had an affection for his nephew, Justin McCall Jr. and his niece, Elizabeth McCall and he shared an especially close relationship with his sister, Deborah Nakia Scott. Joshua was employed at Metro Health Hospital for 13 years where he served in various positions and acquired many heartfelt friendships with his coworkers. Joshua's faith in God carried and guided him through many obstacles in life and served as his strength when faced with life's challenges.

On December 15, 2025, Joshua received his rest from this life. Joshua leaves to cherish his mother Jennifer Jeanine Griffin; sister Deborah Nakia Scott (Justin McCall); beloved nephew Justin McCall Jr; niece Elizabeth McCall; brother Adam Griffin; uncle Christopher Roth Griffin; cousin Chaz Griffin; aunt Jennifer Janel Griffin; and a host of cousins and extended family.

Joshua is preceded in death by Deborah Yvonne Griffin (Mom), Woodie Dixon (Dad), Kathy Nesbitt and Cynthia Blake (Aunts), Roderick Wade Blake (Uncle), and Christopher Roth Griffin Jr. (cousin).

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 12 p.m. until time of Homegoing Service at 1 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111, where a repass will be held immediately following the services.
