Joseph Clark Snodgrass

Joseph Clark Snodgrass, 75, of Independence, Ohio, passed away on July 6, 2025, surrounded by loving family. Joe was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 30, 1949 to Florence Snodgrass (née Ciulla). He graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1967 and went on to study International Economics at Georgetown University. Joe and his wife, Nancy Ortman, were devoted to each other for 45 years and they welcomed their daughter Natalie in 1993. He cherished his family and was a devoted friend to all close to him. 

Joe loved music, the outdoors, playing backgammon with friends, and debating politics and sports with anyone interested in engaging. His family loved him profoundly and is heartbroken by his sudden passing. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 10 a.m., at St. Patrick Church 3602 Bridge Ave. Cleveland, OH 44113 (please meet at church).
