Jose A. Reyes Aponte

Jose A. Reyes Aponte, age 86, passed away on July 20, 2026. Born on September 14, 1939, in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, he was the beloved son of the late Alfredo Reyes and Maria Aponte.

Jose was a devoted father to Jose A. Reyes, Orlando Reyes, Maria Rodriguez, Norma Otero, and Aracelis Colon. He was a cherished grandfather to Abigail Reyes, Jose F. Reyes, and many other loving grandchildren, as well as many great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy. He also leaves behind his dear siblings and was a treasured uncle to a host of nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his love, guidance, and warm presence.

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
