Jessica Ann Gunderman

Jessica Ann Gunderman was born December 9th, 1982, and passed March 21, 2026. She was a beloved daughter, mother and sister who will be remembered for her bright smile, contagious laugh and willingness to forgive, always. Jessica's life was filled with moments that reflected her love for life. She cherished the simple joy of huddling around a bonfire or a kitchen table with her siblings Stephanie, Elizabeth, and Melissa, where they would reminisce about "back in the day." 

Jessica was one of the four glue sticks holding their family together after the passing of their mother, Ann Marie Fogel and stepfather, David Fogel and was a treasured daughter of her father, Donald Barton, and stepmother Karen Stegens. Jessica was a mother of four beautiful children, Dominic, Devon, Mckenzie, and Isabella Rose. Life's choices kept them separated for much of their lives, Jessica always held hope that one day they would forgive her. 

In the last couple of months of Jessica's life, she crossed off a couple of things on her bucket list, like going to the ocean and truly forgiving herself for her shortcomings. Jessica's caring nature was evident in most aspects of her life; her love for road trips and loud music was undeniable.

 Jessica Ann Gunderman's legacy will be one of love, empathy, and heartfelt connections. She will be that quiet voice in your mind, reminding you to forgive and grow. 

Friends and family are welcome on Tuesday, March 31st from 6-8 PM at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors, 13115 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, April 1st at 12 PM at Riverside Cemetery, 3607 Pearl Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44109 (please meet inside front gates by 11:45 AM).
