James Sedivy

James C. Sedivy, also affectionately known as "2 Dogs", passed away on May 25, 2024, in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. He was born March 3, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio.

James led a vibrant life filled with various interests and passions. He found joy in bartending and socializing with others and was happiest riding on a motorcycle enjoying the freedom of the open road. 

He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Bonnie Kaeppner; his children Matthew Sedivy (Leigha), John Sedivy, and Kerry Sedivy; siblings Dennis Sedivy (Judy) and Frank Sedivy; sister-in-law Samantha Sedivy; grandchildren Jax, Jacob, Billy, Josh, and Erica; cousins Audrey Dempsey (Joe), Rachel Kothe (Ed), Cheyenne Dempsey, Amber Dempsey (Jeff), and Arianna Sega. His faithful canine companion Gizmo and feline friend Peaches also mourn his loss.

He was welcomed in to heaven by wife Rose Sedivy, his son James Sedivy, his brother Raymond Sedivy, and his sister Kathleen Hopperton and her husband Jeff. 

Visitation for James C. Sedivy will be held on May 30, 2024, at Bican Bros. Funeral Home located at 5215 Fleet Ave., Cleveland, OH 44105 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. 

Please join the family immediately following visitation at 49th Street Tavern, 4129 E. 49th Street, Newburgh Heights, Ohio for a time of celebration. 

James will be forever remembered for his warm personality, genuine friendships, and the love he shared with those around him. May he rest in peace knowing he was cherished by many.
