Beloved husband of the late Charlotte (nee Sigman) and the late Louise. Loving father of Patricia Brom (deceased) (Thomas), Anthony, Regina Piskach (Thomas), Joseph, James (deceased), Michael, Denise Persinger and Jon (Carol). Son of the late Anthony and Ruth Melbar. Grandfather of 21. Great-grandfather of 35. Brother of John, Diane and Leeann Melbar, Robert Melbar (deceased) and Gloria Polace (deceased). Uncle of many. Mr. Melbar was U.S. Army Veteran. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00am at Holy Name Church 8328 Broadway Ave. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome Monday, June 25, 2018 from 3:00-8:00pm at the BICAN BROS. FUNERAL HOME 5215 Fleet Ave.
