Irene M. Smith

Irene M. Smith, age 76, passed away on August 31, 2024. She was born on February 12, 1948, in Fayetteville, West Virginia, to her loving parents, the late Lloyd and Margie Humphrey. Irene was the beloved wife of Lawrence Smith and the devoted mother of Cheryl Crabtree, John "Dugan" Childrey (Connie), and Daniel Childrey. She was a cherished grandmother of nine and a proud great-grandmother to many. Irene was also a dear sister to twelve siblings and a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her warmth, kindness, and love for her family will be deeply missed. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 10:45 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH. Please meet at the front gates at 10:30 AM.
