Helen Travers

Helen J. Travers, age 57, passed away on October 11, 2023. Born on December 7, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio, Helen was the beloved daughter of Clarence W. Jenkins Sr. and Shirly J. Jenkins.

A devoted mother, Helen leaves behind a beautiful tapestry of family, including her children Steven Travers, Mary Travers, Patricia Travers, and Cheryl Travers. Her nurturing spirit extended to her role as a grandmother, where she found immense joy in the presence of Jesenia, Kendra, Allen, Maxine, Alex, Annabelle, Sophia, Romeo, Zoe, and great grandmother of Lily'onna.

Helen was a loving sister to Thomas R. Wilson, Billie J. Burns, Clarence W. Jenkins Jr., Sandy D. Hudson, Samuel E. Jenkins, Brunette E. Jenkins, Sharon M. Tawney, and the late David A. Wilson. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, and all those who were touched by her kindness.

Helen's life was filled with the simple joys that she found in the world around her. Among her many pleasures, she had a special fondness for Winnie the Pooh, finding comfort and delight in the timeless stories that spoke to the importance of friendship, kindness, and the sweetness of life.
