It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harrison D. Tackett, aka Charlie, who departed from this world on April 7, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on January 27, 1965, in the city he came to love and call home.
Charlie was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life and had a deep passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, fishing, and hunting. His adventurous spirit and love for the open road were evident to all who knew him. Charlie's warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact wherever he went.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Hallie Tackett, and his cherished granddaughter, Addison Day. In addition to his immediate family, Charlie leaves behind his partner, Shelia Boatright, sister, Dawanna Tackett, nephews, Timmy Tackett and Jason Tackett, and cousin, Jesse Tackett with numerous other younger family members. Charlie was predeceased by his brothers, Lloyd “Buck” Tackett, Freddie “Chappy” Tackett, and sisters, Pat Green, Diane Comer, and Tammy Pablo.
A visitation in honor of Charlie's life will be held on April 18, 2024, starting at 5:00 PM at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors located at 13115 Lorain Ave, Cleveland, OH 44111. Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects and share memories during this time of remembrance until 7:00 PM. Interment to take place in Edison Cemetery, Grayson, Kentucky.
Charlie Tackett will forever be remembered for his genuine nature, love for adventure, and the way he brought light into the lives of those around him. May his spirit ride on like the wind on a Harley Davidson motorcycle - free and eternal.
