Gregory Oneal Howard, a cherished soul who graced the world with love and laughter, was born on August 22, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio. After a life filled with robust experiences and immeasurable joy, he passed away in his beloved hometown on July 28, 2025.
From an early age, Gregory's warmth and kindness made a profound impact on those around him. He was a devoted son to his parents, Cornelius and Dorothy Ann (nee Williams) Howard, who instilled in him values that would guide him throughout his life. Gregory became a beloved father, nurturing a family of his own that brought him immense pride and happiness.
He is survived by the mother of the children, Wanda Howard, who played a significant role in his life and in the lives of their children: Marion and Roberto (Rachel) Howard. Gregory was a beacon of light to his family, his spirit reflected in the laughter and love of his grandchildren. He was a devoted grandfather to Xavier (Jessica), Symone, Brianna, Jose (Brianna), Adekoya (Andreas), Sayge, Sukito, MaDaya, Ileana and a great-grandfather of many, who will carry forward his legacy of love.
Gregory shared a special bond with his siblings: Mike, Mark, Tim, Steve, LaRuth, Mable, Dorothy, Renee, Delores, and the late Thomas. Together, along with his nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, they created a tapestry of memories filled with laughter and love, standing as a testament to the strong familial ties that defined his life.
In his journeys through life, Gregory built connections that transcended mere friendships; he possessed a remarkable ability to touch lives and foster deep relationships. His unwavering support for his family and friends painted the fabric of his existence, and his stories, filled with wisdom and humor, will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
As we celebrate Gregory's life, we commemorate not just the years he walked among us but the love he shared, the lessons he imparted, and the memories that will shine brightly in our hearts. His legacy remains embedded in the laughter of his children and grandchildren, a testament to a life well-lived.
