Devoted father of Carmen Ramos, Shelly Mateo, Sandra Cruz, Johnny Maldonado, Gilberto Maldonado, and Joel Maldonado. Cherished grandfather of Frank Bezares, Luis Mateo, Amaris Mateo, Ashley Haut, Timothy Haut, Breanna Cruz, Brandon Cruz, Christopher Bodell, Desiree Bezares, Justin Bezares, and Smaya Bezares. Dear brother of Raul Maldonado, Auria Maldonado, Guelo Maldonado, Consuelo Maldonado, Maldalena Maldonado, Marie Maldonado, Mario Maldonado, and Ester Maldonado. Treasured uncle of Lucy Ramirez. Loving son of the late Pedro Maldonado and Mercedes Ramirez. Gilberto loved walking to the lake and riding his bike downtown. He also enjoyed building and upholstering furniture. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery 3607 Pearl Rd. Cleveland, OH. 44109. (Please meet at gates by 9:45 a.m.)
