George F. Eckstein

George F. Eckstein, age 85, passed away on October 15, 2026. He was born on January 10, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late Frank and Evelyn (nee Hansen) Eckstein.

Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Rudziewski) Eckstein. Devoted father of Tina (Donnie) Phares, Mark Eckstein (deceased), James Eckstein, and Nicole Eckstein (Mike McLaughlin). Cherished grandfather of Reilley (Dalton) Dickerson, Delaney (Evan) Delaune, Gianna McLaughlin, and Alexander McLaughlin, and great-grandfather of Callan Dickerson. Dear brother of John (Cindy) Eckstein (deceased), Betty (Raymond) Penner, and David (Eleanor) Eckstein (deceased).

George proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family, creating art, and watching football. He also dearly loved his two dogs, Copper and Suzie, who brought him much joy and companionship. George will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family.
