Beloved husband of Carol (nee Burgess). Loving father of Cindy Essenburg, Cathy Sprague, George (Lisa), and Laura Blackburn. Dearest grandfather of Brian, Jason, Kim, David, Bradley, Jesica, Renee, and Matthew. Great-grandfather of 7. Survived by sister Ruth Ann Cutwright and brother Skip Blackburn. Preceded in death by 7 siblings. Mass of Christian Burial Monday March 5, 2012 at 11:30am at St. Boniface Church. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00pm at Bollinger-Bican Funeral Home 9810 Denison Ave. Donations may be made to Metro Catholic School, Development Office, 1910 W. 54th St. Cleveland, OH 44102.
