Gary M. Gammons

Gary M. Gammons, age 65, passed away on April 29, 2025. He was born on October 30, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late Robert Gammons (Marva) and Barbara Womack.

Beloved husband of Patricia Blanton. Devoted father of Shavmarie McDonald-Martin (Antonio), Kishon McDonald, Chonda Brown, Heather Blanton, George Blanton, and Alisha Blanton. Cherished grandfather of Janiya Nickson and great-grandfather of Armontay Anderson, Jr., along with many other loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Chris Gammons, Charmaine Gammons, and Cheryl Gammons. Treasured uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.

Gary proudly served in the U.S. Army and later dedicated nearly 30 years as a security guard for Cleveland Commerce. He was known for his strong work ethic, love of classic black-and-white films, deep appreciation for music, and his sharp sense of style.

Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
