Gabriel Ortiz Ortiz, age 83, passed away on June 20, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on February 20, 1943, in Carolina, Puerto Rico, to Guillermo Ortiz and Paula Ortiz.

Gabriel was a devoted father to Gabriel Ortiz, Jr., Javier Ortiz, Jose G. Ortiz, Raquel Ortiz (Cesar), and Zuleyka Ortiz. He was a cherished grandfather to Jose A. Jimenez, Yentl R. Jimenez, Katherine K. Rodriguez, Mirnaliz Ortiz, Ronald J. Ortiz, Jose L. Ortiz, and Stephanie L. Ortiz. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Maria C. Jimenez, Kevin Jimenez, Yulian Jimenez, Adiel J. Beato, and Abrielle L. Beato.

Gabriel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myriam, his grandchild, Kahlee M. Ortiz, and his sisters, Irma Ortiz and Judith Ortiz. He was also a loving uncle and will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Gabriel was a man of faith who trusted in the Lord and held a deep love for Jesus. He enjoyed Bible studies, playing dominoes, and spending time with family and friends. He was known for his generous heart and for always being willing to help his neighbors. His kindness, faith, and love for those around him left a lasting impression on many lives.

Gabriel’s legacy of faith, love, and service will live on in the hearts of his family and all who were blessed to know him.
