Freddy J. Caban Sr.

Freddy J. Caban Sr., aged 56, passed away on January 24, 2024. He was born on May 14, 1967, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to the late Efrain and Luz Portalatin Caban. Freddy was the devoted father of Jocelyn Caban and Freddy Caban Jr., and the dear brother of Iris Caban and Santos Caban. He was an uncle to many, including Tamish Cruz, Denise Vidot, Sheila Vidot, Ingrid Caban, Jazmine Gonzalez, Dezaray Cruz, Anastasia Garcia, Marc Rivera, Sameh Caban, Giselle Rivera, Angelies Bernardi, Tamish Vidot Torres, Celenia Vidot Torres, Nathaniel Souffront Caban, Natasha Souffront Caban, Donavin Cruz Richardson, Yanzyel Garcia Vidot, and Dominick Cruz Richardson, as well as fostering strong bonds within his neighborhood.

Freddy found joy in simple pleasures: salsa music, cooking, especially Barbequing, and spending quality time with his family. His warm presence and family-oriented nature endeared him to those around him.
