Fermina Camargo Rosado

Fermina Camargo peacefully passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 79. She was born on November 24, 1943, in Juncos, Puerto Rico, to the late Pedro Rosado and Leonarda Gonzalez, and was the 11th child in a family of 13 siblings.

Fermina's legacy is deeply intertwined with her devotion to her family and her unshakable faith in God. She was a nurturing and dedicated mother to her children, Damaris Torres (Rafael), Mayra Valentino, Maribelle Rojas (Geraldo), and the late Jorge Camargo (Faustina). Her love extended to her 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.

Fermina's warm spirit and generosity also touched the lives of countless nieces, nephews, great grand nieces, and great grand nephews. Among them, she held a special place in her heart for Alma Fernandez, Jackie Bell, Genesis Maisonet, Club San Lorenzo, Slone Funeral Staff, Fairview Hospital Staff, Dr. Salem and staff, Dr. Oza and staff, Sarah Price Miller, Eddie Miracle, and Nikki Alicea. Her home was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Fermina found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including playing dominos, solving jigsaw puzzles, dancing to music, tending to her garden, and enjoying her favorite TV shows. Her love for her family and friends was unwavering, and her unwavering faith was an inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by her sisters Flora, Casilda, Barin, and Francisca, who shared in her journey and provided a strong foundation of support. Fermina's legacy will forever live on through the lives she touched and the memories she created.

Rest in peace, dear Fermina. Your love and presence will forever echo in our hearts.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, August 21, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
