Fata Covic

Fata Covic, 76, passed away peacefully March 1, 2026. She was a beloved mother of Safet “Sonny” Covic and Safeta “Sandy” Hagen and grandmother of Brooklyn Covic, Riley Covic and Allanah Hagen who was devoted to her family and friends. She loved cooking, baking, music and gardening. She also had much love and pride for her country, Bosnia Herzegovina. She was a strong woman who was loving, generous, and funny. She fought hard against her long battle with dementia. Dementia took her memory and independence but never took her love for family or her witty sense of humor. Thank you to Kemper House of Strongsville for the amazing care you provided our mother. She was loved by many and will be missed. We love you Majka!

Family and friends are welcome Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 10am-12:00pm at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44111.  Services and burial private.
