Esther Ruiz Ortiz

Esther Ruiz Ortiz, age 58, passed away on May 16, 2025. She was born on December 26, 1966, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to her loving parents, Manuel Jaime Ruiz and Iris M. Ortiz.

Esther was the beloved wife of Eusebio Cesar Cid Miranda. A devoted mother to Alba Castro, Joselin Castro, Carmen J. Castro, and Gilbert Ruiz, she was also a loving stepmother to eight children. Esther was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to many. She was a cherished sister to Carmen Ruiz, Liz Ruiz, and Blonea Ruiz, and a dear aunt and friend to many.

Family and friends are invited to call at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center, 3556 West 130th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44111, on Sunday, May 18, from 4:00PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 19, also at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
