Esperanza Paez de Duran

Esperanza Paez de Duran, age 66, passed away on June 15, 2025. She was born on May 28, 1959, in Los Pilones, Dominican Republic, to her loving parents, the late Julio Maria Paez and Rosa Maria Bonifacio.

Esperanza was the beloved wife of Manuelito Duran Espinal, with whom she shared a life full of love, dedication, and family. She was a devoted mother to Julio Manuel Duran Paez (Vanessa Padilla), Yahayra Es. Duran Paez, Jose Manolo Duran Paez, and Alberto Antonio Duran Paez (Mercedez Hernandez), and a cherished grandmother of Yeudy, Angelina, Angelo, Diana, and Julian Duran. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Jehian Smith de La Cruz.

Esperanza will be deeply missed by her dear siblings: Angelica Bonifacio, Dominga Bonifacio, Felipe Martes, Antonio Martes, Maria Martes, Juan Martes, Teofilo Martes, Caciano Bonifacio, Hipolito Bonifacio, and Simeon Bonifacio. She was a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111, where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
