Erasmo Roche

Erasmo Roche, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on November 23, 1933, Erasmo was a man of great tenacity and warmth, embodying the qualities of a hard worker throughout his life.

Erasmo found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was often seen sitting on his porch during the summer months, sharing stories and laughter with neighbors and friends. His spirit was infectious, and he had an uncanny ability to connect with those around him. His love for baseball was evident, as he spent many afternoons cheering for the Cleveland Indians, a pastime that often brought the family together.

In addition to baseball, Erasmo enjoyed the games of dominos and bingo, filling his days with friendly competition and camaraderie. He also had a fondness for wrestling, where he would proudly shout encouragement from his seat.

Erasmo will be remembered as the devoted son of Alejandro Roche and Genatta Correa, and the loving husband of Rosa Matia Pena Roche. He cherished his role as a father to Jose E. Roche and Jesus M. Roche, and his legacy will live on through his grandchildren: Joshua, Amber, Angelina, and Selina Roche. He also leaves behind fond memories as the brother of the late Luis Roche, and as a caring uncle to Madelyne, Lucy, and Iluminado Roche, along with a host of other nephews.

The community mourns the loss of Erasmo Roche, a man whose presence was a testament to the values of hard work, family, and friendship. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Graveside Services to be held Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11AM at Riverside Cemetery, 3607 Pearl Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44109 (Please meet inside front gate no later than 10:45 AM).
