Eladio Pena Reyes

Eladio Pena Reyes, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on September 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 25, 1937, in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, to his loving parents, the late Jose Pena and Matilde Reyes. Beloved husband of the late Ramona Pena. Devoted father of Onelda Pena, Osvaldo Torres, Matiwilda Hanbaum (Greg), Elizabeth Pena, Eladio Pena Jr., and Celia Pena. Cherished grandfather of Betsy Perez, LaKiesha Rivera, Eric Pena, Crystal Hanbaum, Tatiana Rivera, and Armani Adames. Proud great-grandfather of Isiah Whittenburg, Jazmine Whittenburg, Antonio Mireles, Mylan Mitchell, LaRiah Mireles, Jadiel Pacheco, Yaminah Rivera, and great-great-grandfather of Kam Whittenburg, Brooklyn Whittenburg, Yanaiva Perez, and Isiah Whittenburg Jr. Dear brother, uncle, and friend to many. 

Eladio enjoyed playing dominos, making jokes with kids, and entertaining friends and family. He retired from Leece-Neville Company and cherished his time spent back home in Juana Diaz, P.R. 

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111, where the family will be conducting a short service at 7 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 10 a.m., at Riverside Cemetery 3607 Pearl Rd. Cleveland, OH 44109 (please meet at gates by 9:45 a.m.).
