Edward Roldan

Edwin “Ed-Dogg” Roldan, age 61, passed away on September 9, 2026. He was born on May 31, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, Jose I. Roldan and the late Carmen M. (nee Velez) Roldan. 

Edwin was a beloved father to Melissa Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, Jennifer Gonzalez, Darlene Roldan, Migdalia Roldan, Edwin Seguniot, Gabriella Roldan, Nathan Roldan, and Taylor Roldan. He was a cherished grandfather to Nick, Izek, Taylor, Anyelina, Jose, Carmello, Abel, Aliza, Aja, Aiyanna, Alexis, Gracie, EJ, Harmony, Sophia and Niko, and a proud great-grandfather to Ja’heim, Ja’lyla, and Leilani. He was a dear brother to Joey and Tato (Gregory), and was preceded in death by his sisters, Brenda and Arlene. Edwin was also a treasured uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.

Known affectionately as “Ed-Dogg,” Edwin embodied a protective figure to all he loved, he had a fun-loving spirit and a personality that made him unforgettable. He enjoyed bowling, entertaining, the nightlife, playing the lottery and gambling, and all sports, but most of all, he cherished the time he spent surrounded by his family. His laughter, presence, and unique spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
