Don W Davis

Don W. Davis, born November 22, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away suddenly on March 18, 2006, in his hometown of Cleveland. He was a man whose life was marked by a deep love for life’s simple yet enriching pleasures. Throughout his years, Don cherished being outdoors, where he found solace and joy in activities such as hiking and engaging in various sports. His hands were always busy with woodworking, a craft through which he expressed both his creativity and dedication.

Don was a beloved son, devoted to his parents, Dorothy (nee Zimmer) and Donald W. Davis. His role as a father was equally significant; he took immense pride in his sons, Michael and Erik Davis, who carry forward the strength and values he instilled in them. The warmth of family extended further into his life through his grandchildren, Abigail and Spencer Davis, who undoubtedly held a cherished place in his heart.

He was also a dear brother to Lance Davis and Cheryl Palmer and a fond uncle to Elsa and Avery Palmer, relationships that added layers of love and connection throughout his life. Though Don was once married to Kay Hazlett, they shared a bond that remained part of his personal history.Don W. Davis’s life, though tragically cut short, was filled with moments of joy, love, and meaningful connections. He leaves behind a legacy not only in the lives of his family but also through the many who knew him as a kind and spirited individual. His memory will be honored by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery, 3607 Pearl Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44109 (please meet inside the front gates no later than 10:45 AM). Arrangements entrusted to Slone & Co. Funeral Directors.
