Dequenna Moreland-Saddler, born November 23, 1961, transitioned from this life on November 24, 2025. A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, she leaves behind memories that will forever fill the hearts of those who knew her.

Dequenna was preceded in death by her parents, Adorphus Moreland Sr. and Louis Rebecca Peavy-Moreland, as well as her brother, Allen Moreland Sr. She is survived by her loving siblings, Sandra Curry, Dorothy Moreland, and Adorphus Moreland Jr. (Judy), and a host of devoted aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who adored her deeply.

Beyond her family, Dequenna shared a lifelong, unbreakable bond with her partner, Mary Parker, who stood by her side through every season of life. Their love was more than companionship and more than friendship; it was a testament to loyalty, laughter, and unwavering devotion.

To know Dequenna was to know laughter, connection, and genuine warmth. She had the gift of storytelling, bringing life into every memory she shared. A woman of vibrant spirit, she loved to swim, to gather with family and friends, and to turn any moment into a joyful one. She enjoyed games of all kinds and cared for her plants and stuffed animals as if they were her own little family—each one holding a special place in her heart.

Dequenna touched lives with her humor, her affection, and her unmistakable presence. Her love was simple, pure, and unforgettable.
She will be truly and deeply missed.

"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for Think is the kingdom and the power and the glory for ever and ever. Amen."
