Denice Ann Ressler

December 23, 1963 — November 15, 2025

Garfield Heights, Ohio

"There's no place like home..."

To our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Denice A. Ressler, home was always her favorite place to be, especially with those she loved the most: her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Denice was born on a cold winter day on December 23, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio, and was the devoted daughter of the late John Dunn and Nancy Davis.

Known throughout her life as being stubborn and sassy, Denice was fiercely loyal to those she considered her friends, but only after she trusted and accepted them into the group. A devoted dog lover, Denice would come to love and spoil her six dogs that she shared with her beloved husband. Throughout her life, she would enjoy her trips to Las Vegas, her Pick Three lottery tickets, Keno, and Bingo. She would also travel often to Amish Country or Niagara Falls, to spend time away with those she truly loved.

However, the most important thing in Denice's life was her precious family. Whether it was her beloved husband of 18 years, Lewis Ressler, to whom she gave shit to all the time, but was one hell of a wife; her devoted children, Andrew and Elizabeth, being the greatest of grandmothers to her princess, Matilda, or her grandsons, Donovan and Jacob, or her childhood friend and lifelong sister, Patty Bell (Richard), and their children, Lori, Doug and Lisa, Denice's yellow brick road always led back to her family.

Denice would also say goodbye to many she loved throughout her life, but they were never far from her mind. Her death reunites her with dear son, Matthew; her parents and brother, Brad; her good friends, Dale and Bob; and her mother-in-law, Barbara, with whom she played bingo with once but enjoyed every minute of it.

Denice broke the hearts of all who knew and loved her when she returned to the Emerald City suddenly on November 15, 2025.  A great wife, mother, and grandmother, there will never be another like her.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date to celebrate. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the GoFundMe page in Denice's honor to assist with expenses. Please donate here. Thank you.
