Darlene Atkins

In loving memory of Darlene Atkins, a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence on November 11, 1957, in the quaint town of Logan County, West Virginia. She departed from this earthly realm on April 28, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Darlene was a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her gentle spirit touched the hearts of many. Throughout her life, she embodied grace and resilience in the face of adversity, always emanating a sense of warmth and compassion that endeared her to all.

She was a devoted daughter to her parents, Roby Williamson and Thelma Bledso. Darlene's love knew no limits when it came to her children, Jolene Stepp, Bobbie Jo Floor, William/Spike Stepp, Michael Williamson, and her late daughter Ilene Stepp. She was not just a mother but a guiding light in their lives, shaping them into the remarkable individuals they are today. As a grandmother of eleven, Darlene found immense joy in the laughter and love shared with each grandchild. 

Darlene's presence brought comfort and solace to her family; she was a loving sister of eight, survived by three sisters, and an aunt who supported and uplifted those around her with unwavering care and understanding. Her legacy of love will forever reverberate through the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.

As we bid farewell to Darlene Atkins, we take solace in the beautiful memories she has left behind. Her life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, kindness, and compassion—a legacy that will continue to inspire all those who were blessed to have known her.
