PepsiCo stock plummeted today at the news of the passing of Darla Spremulli, 81, of Rocky River. She leaves behind a daughter, Tara, and granddaughter, Mia, and so many Temu packages. Darla was one of the most beautiful and funny women anyone would ever meet. Everyone that ever met her appreciated the humor she brought into their lives. Her high school and college friends, with whom she stayed close for many years, tell of her amazing wit and laughter, as well as her whip-smart intelligence. Her extensive vocabulary was more than highly proficient at knowing more curse words than most people learned in a lifetime. She liked four letter words as much as she loved her Pepsi and trust me, she LOVED her Pepsi.
She was equally obsessed with her family, including her daughter and granddaughter, always boasting to friends and family about them whenever possible. She spent most of her working years as a devoted paralegal to her father, Sigmund Brinsky; then many years for her second favorite boss Jim Mayer. She was so proficient in so many areas of the law, she should have been awarded an honorary degree.
Darla was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Spremulli and beloved pets Mischka, Raven, Lily, Isabel, and Francesca. All who knew her loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace (when applicable) and the undying love she felt for all her people. She will be greatly missed.
A Byzantine mass, celebrating her heritage and her life will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Byzantine Catholic Church, 5390 W 220th St, Fairview Park, OH on Tuesday, December 12th at 10AM with one hour of visitation prior.
In her honor, please consider giving generously to the amazing folks at the Hospice of the Western Reserve at www.hospicewr.org. They are angels that walk amongst us.
