Daniel T. Powell

Daniel T. Powell, age 72, passed away on February 11, 2023 from a sudden heart attack. Daniel was born to the late Thomas E. and Janet L. Powell on July 4, 1950. Daniel is survived by his cherished wife of 15 years, Kathryn M. Powell; his loving children, Andy and Lori Powell; his grandchildren, Sarena Powell, Kevin Powell, Jesse Murphy, Dakota Nichols, Mackenzie Powell, Kameron Powell; and 12 loving great grandchildren. Proceeded in death by his dear sibilings, Donald T. Powell, Linda Benedict, and Debbie Mynette. Daniel retired from Medina City Schools after 35 years in 2008. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature, hunting, fishing, and driving trips. Most importantly, Daniel enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, and was known for his picnics and coffee.
