Catherine Martinez Rodriguez

Catherine Martinez Rodriguez, beloved wife, mother, sister, and aunt, passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 49. She was born on April 2, 1974, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, to her loving parents, Juan Martinez and Lydia Ester Rodriguez Maldonado.

Catherine was a woman of remarkable warmth, kindness, and grace, leaving an indelible impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Edwin Abner Perez, and together they created a life filled with love, compassion, and unwavering support. Catherine was the heart of her family, and her absence will be deeply felt.

As a mother, Catherine's love knew no bounds. She cherished her children, Eric Alberto Rodriguez, Marc Anthony Rodriguez, and Ashley Marie Rodriguez, and their well-being was always her utmost priority. Catherine embraced her role as a nurturing guide and provided her children with a foundation of love, values, and encouragement that will continue to shape their lives.

Catherine's kindness extended beyond her immediate family, as she shared a special bond with her siblings. She was a loving sister to Juan Martinez Correa, Juan Enrique Martinez, and Elizabeth Malave. Family and friends are welcome Monday, June 5, 2023, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111, where Services will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 1 p.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
