Carmen Emilia Vargas well known as “Can”

Age 59, passed away surrounded by her loving family to join the lord on April 10, 2017. Carmen was a

loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend who will be truly missed by many that

knew and loved her for her infectious smile and sweet personality. She was born on January 5, 1958 in

Arecibo, Puerto Rico to the late Pedro Reillo Hernandez and Regina Nieves Reillo. Beloved wife of Juan

Vargas. Loving Mother of Zuleika, Josue, and Pedro (wife: Zulmarie). Devoted grandmother of Xavy,

Zuriel, Yamiel, Mia and Nana. Dear sister of Jose, Hector, Rene, Lydia and the late Anna, Maria, Pedro,

Augustine and Luis. Cherished aunt and amazing friend to many.


Family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Friday, April 14, at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors at 13115 Lorain Rd Cleveland, OH 44111.  A church services will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, April 15 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 3395 East 53rd Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44127 with immediate procession to Riverside Cemetery for burial services.
