Carmen B. Almonte, age 90, passed away on November 19, 2023. Born on December 11, 1932, in Higuey, Dominican Republic, to the late Diogenes Almonte and Jovina Belen. Beloved wife of the late Manuel Portes. Devoted mother of Manuel D. Portes (Elsie G.), Maria D. Portes-Lewis (Gerald D.), Maria E. Vicioso (Osiris I.), and Carmen J. Lewis (James - Dec.). Cherished grandmother of Manuel Portes, Elsie Barnes, Denise Portes, Victor Portes, Carter Portes, Maria Vicioso, and the late Michael Vicioso. Dear sister of Elvecia Almonte, Daisy Almonte, and the late Pablo Almonte, Zeneyda Sanchez, Carlos Almonte, Antonia Almonte, Luis Almonte, and Maria Almonte.
