Carlos Manuel Roman Perez

Carlos Manuel Roman Perez, a devoted father and beloved member of his community, passed away on May 1st, 2023 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was 28 years old.

Born on July 2nd, 1994 in Brooklyn, New York, Carlos was the son of Elizabeth Perez and Hector Roman. Growing up as one of six siblings - Stephanie, Tiffanie, Ullesses, Jared, and Hector - Carlos learned early on the importance of family. He remained close to all of his siblings throughout his life and took great pride in being their protector.

Despite facing challenges during his youth, Carlos always kept a smile on his face that could brighten up anyone's day. He was generous with his time and love and embodied everything a true "Mama's boy" should be.

For Carlos, there was nothing more important than being a dad. He took immense joy in raising his daughter Ariel alongside his partner Cinthia Bautista. His proudest accomplishments revolved around fatherhood - watching his daughter grow up to be a compassionate and kind-hearted person brought him endless happiness.

Outside of raising Ariel, Carlos had many passions in life. He loved making music and would often spend hours working on new beats and tracks. He also had an eye for fashion and enjoyed looking good no matter where he went.

Carlos' passing has left a profound impact on all those who knew him. Survived by an extensive network of loved ones including his daughter Ariel Bautista, spouse Cinthia Bautista; mother Elizabeth Perez; father Hector Roman; five siblings Stephanie Roman Perez, Tiffanie Roman Perez, Ullesses Roman, Jared Roman, and Hector A. Roman; nieces Hope Roman-Perry, Aniyah Bass, Siani Roman Jones; and nephews Major Roman-Perry & Shamaine Duncan - Carlos will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him.

Carlos' infectious spirit and generous heart touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His memory will live on through his daughter Ariel and the countless people he blessed with his participation in the Organ Donor Program.

A Memorial Gathering to honor his life will be held on May 11th, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Slone & Co Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111.
