Brenda Kay Stewart

Brenda Kay (nee. Steen) Stewart, age 76, passed away on December 1, 2023. Born on July 10, 1947, in Woodsfield, Ohio, to the late Hershal and Martha Steen (nee. McConnel). Brenda was the beloved wife of the late Guy Jefferson Stewart.

She leaves behind a legacy of love as a devoted mother to Tabitha Stewart-Hines, Tina (nee. Stewart) Roginsky, and Teresa (nee. Stewart) Graley, and a cherished grandmother to Kyle Roginsky, Ayla Roginsky, Jessica Pyles/Klypchak, Savahana Graley, Willow Grayley, and great-granddaughter Auroa Hinkle.

Brenda, a dear sister to the late Richard Steen, also held a special place in the heart of her niece, Nicole Steen. She found joy in quilting, embroidery, puzzles, church, and gardening, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew her.

Brenda found joy in life's simple pleasures, expressing her passion through beautiful quilts and intricate embroidery. Puzzles were a favorite pastime, showcasing her sharp mind and determination. Her faith was integral, providing solace and community in her church.

Her green thumb and love for gardening allowed her to cultivate beauty, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew her. Brenda's memory will forever bloom in the hearts of those who shared in her life's privilege.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 11 a.m., at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery 4700 Broadview Rd. Cleveland, OH 44109. (Please meet at gates off of State Rd. by 10:45 a.m.)
