Brenda K. Dillon, age 79, passed away on May 27, 2024. Born on October 11, 1944, in Logan, West Virginia, she was the cherished daughter of the late James and Thelma (nee Wilson) Tomblin.
Brenda was the beloved wife of the late Sidney H. Dillon. She was a devoted mother to Patricia Eckhardt (David), Michelle Nieves (Richard), Donald Plummer, and James Dillon (Haley Turley). Her love extended to her grandchildren: Alexandra Nieves, Natalie Nieves, James Dillon Jr., Annalise Dillon, Elizabeth Plummer, Alena and Noah Turley, along with many nieces and nephews.
Brenda is also survived by her dear brother, Loren Tomblin. She was predeceased by her sister, Ina Minch, and brother, Doug Tomblin.
A true enthusiast of Cleveland sports, Brenda was a loyal fan of the Cleveland Guardians, Browns and Cavs. She found joy in reading, gardening, and playing bingo. Her warm and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 2 p.m. until time of Service at 3 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center, 3556 West 130th Street, Cleveland, OH 44111, where a luncheon will follow.Service Schedule
