Birtukan Teferi Nushe, age 39, passed away on November 13, 2025. She was born on April 26, 1986, in Hawassa, Ethiopia, to her loving parents, Teferi Nushe Galdida and Mulu Badego Gadule. Beloved wife of Girriso Futara Benderro. Devoted mother of Joanna and Leul Benderro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Colman Church, 2027 W. 65th St., Cleveland, OH 44102 (please meet directly at church). Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery 14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142. A luncheon will be held following the burial at St. Mary Ethiopian Tewahedo Church, 3243 W. 98th St., Cleveland, OH 44102.
