Beverly J. Gibson

Beverly J. (nee Boozer) Gibson, age 92, passed away on February 6, 2026. She was born on October 12, 1933, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to her loving parents, the late Harris G. and Lavada (nee Claycomb) Boozer. Beverly was the beloved wife of the late Delmer R. Gibson and devoted mother of Donna (deceased) and Donald Gibson.

She was the cherished grandmother of Dahn Gibson (Eric) and Tyler Gibson, and loving great-grandmother of Deric Lake-Gibson and Leah Lake-Gibson. Beverly was the dear sister of Phyllis, Miles (deceased), Roberta (deceased), Frank, Stanley, Darla, Charles, and Robert, and treasured aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.

Beverly enjoyed sewing and was well known as a handywoman, always ready to fix things and lend a helping hand. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 5 p.m. until time of Closing Prayers and Reflection at 6:30 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Sunset Cemetery 6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070 (please meet at cemetery gates by 10:45 a.m.).
