Betty Jean Gardner-Chibundu

Betty Jean Gardner-Chibundu, age 65, passed away on January 29, 2026. She was born on August 24, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving parents, the late Mary M. Gardner and William Davis.

Betty was the beloved mother of Monique Gardner, Yvonne Gardner, Loretta Chibundu, Rayshonna Chibundu, Deja Gardner, and Shanautica Chibundu. She was a cherished grandmother of 20 and a proud great-grandmother of 5. She was a dear sister of Ralph Gardner, Joyce Menefee, and Yvonne Gardner, and a treasured aunt of Mark, Sonya, Mary, and Joyce.

Betty was free-spirited and brought joy wherever she went. She especially enjoyed playing cards and spending time with those she loved. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
