Barbara R. Lockyer

Barbara R. Lockyer, age 85, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026. She was born on October 16, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving parents, the late John and Madilyn (nee Bugby).

Barbara was the beloved wife of Russell Lockyer and a devoted mother to Anthony W. Hendershot, Cheryl L. Fisher, Diane L. Fletcher, and Mark D. Hendershot. She was a cherished grandmother to Anthony Hendershot, Jr., John Hendershot, Dana Fletcher, Stacy Fletcher, Jamie Fletcher, Clifford T. Fisher, and Frank Lordi (deceased), and a proud great-grandmother of 13. She was also a dear sister and a treasured aunt and great-aunt to many.

Barbara found great joy in crocheting and knitting, and she loved traveling and exploring the world around her. She had a deep appreciation for wildlife and nature, always finding peace and happiness in its beauty.

She will be remembered for her loving heart, creative spirit, and the warmth she brought to her family and all who knew her.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, March 27, from 10 a.m. until time of Service at 11:30 a.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
