Avery V. Mckissack, age 64, passed away on July 25, 2023. Beloved son of Freddie L. McKissack. Cherished brother of John Cobb, Avis D. McKissack, Aaron McKissack, Cassandra Willis, Pamela Kowaski, Lolita Binion. Avery will also be deeply missed by a host of other relatives. Private family services were cared for by Slone & Co. Funeral Directors.
