Anthony Szymanski

Anthony Szymanski, age 65, passed away on April 13, 2023. Devoted father of Tony (Stephanie) and Keith (Jenn) Szymanski.  Cherished grandfather of Jacob Szymanski. Dear brother of Victor, Lillian, and Julie Szymanski. Treasured uncle of Casey Szymanski, Zack Szymanski, Tyler Kantor, Sonya Blackwell, and Louis Ragone. Beloved son of the late Sophie and Kazimier Szymanski.

Anthony proudly served in the U.S. Navy and later on, worked as a mechanic. He was a big sports fan, enjoying baseball, basketball, and football. He also had a profound love for animals and a interest in coin collecting. Anthony was lovingly referred to as 'Pops' by his family and friends, being known to light up any family gathering with his fun story telling that would make everyone laugh. He was always willing to give a helping hand to any friend or stray animal. Anthony's spunk and lightheartedness will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Family and friends are welcome Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 5 p.m. until time of Service at 6:30 p.m., at Bican Bros. Funeral Home 5215 Fleet Ave. Cleveland, OH 44105. Inurnment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
