Angela Santiago

Angela Santiago, a beloved matriarch and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, at the age of 80, in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on January 22, 1945, in Florida, Puerto Rico, Angela's vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of many who had the privilege to know her.

She was the devoted mother of Luz, Carmen, and Maritza Cruz, each of whom carry forward her legacy of strength and warmth. Angela found great joy in her role as grandmother to seven grandchildren and as a great-grandmother, forming deep bonds with each member of her family that will be cherished forever. She was also a loving sister, offering her support and kindness throughout her life.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Monico Santiago and Inosencia Rosario, both of whom shaped her into the remarkable person she became. She also mourned the loss of her son, Wilfredo Cruz, whose memory remained close to her heart.

As we remember Angela, we celebrate her spirit of love and resilience, celebrating a life well-lived and a legacy that will endure through her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
