Alyssa Patrice Magas

Alyssa Patrice Magas, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, left this world on August 21, 2025, in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, at the age of 37. Born on December 2, 1987, Alyssa radiated joy and warmth from an early age, nurturing an infectious love for life that she shared with all who knew her.

As the cherished daughter of Richard Bolden and Karen Magas, Alyssa grew up surrounded by the love of her family. With her captivating laughter and vibrant spirit, she brought light into each room she entered. She was not only a devoted mother to her four children—Camara Lawrence, Kalena Magas, Jermaine and Jonetta Kemp—but also a doting grandmother to her three grandchildren, Ka'lani Kemp, Paisley Ayanna, and Reign Kemp. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she delighted in every moment spent with them, weaving memories that would last a lifetime.

Alyssa held a special place in the hearts of her siblings, Alexis Brito, Cathy Ortiz, and Sabrina Gavin. Her bond with them was filled with laughter, shared secrets, and an unwavering support network rooted in love. As a loving aunt to Selena, Nathalia, and Nolani Hunter, she showered them with affection, ensuring they always felt cherished and supported.

In her leisure time, Alyssa found solace and happiness in the simple things: watching her favorite television shows, listening to music that resonated with her heart, and reminding everyone around her of the power of laughter. Known for her unique ability to make people smile, she had a talent for brightening the dreariest of days with her humor and levity. She leaves behind her parents, children, grandchildren, siblings, and her closest confidant, best friend Dominick Hill, who will miss her profoundly.
