Alma Jean Scott

Alma Jean Scott, age 77, passed away on September 10, 2026. She was born on October 5, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, to her loving parents, the late John Robinson and Garnet Davis.

Alma Jean was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence B. Scott; devoted mother of Jennifer (Alvin) O’Neill, Sean (Sabrina) Scott, and Robert Scott; and cherished grandmother of Alvin O’Neill, Jr., Zechariah O’Neill, Shelby Scott, and Sean “Seany” Douglas Scott. She was the dear sister of Ida Sue Hensley (Deceased) and Sheila Webb, and a treasured aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Alma Jean found joy in the simple things in life. She loved babies, enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, and could never resist a delicious Rice Krispy Treat. Her loving spirit, warm heart, and treasured memories will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Alma Jean wanted all those she loved to know that she loved them very much. Above all, she loved Jesus and found comfort in knowing that she was going home to be with Him. Her hope was that one day, she would see all those she loved again in Heaven.

In accordance with Alma Jean’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held privately for her immediate family.
